A wagering requirement (sometimes called a playthrough) is the number of times you must bet a bonus before any associated winnings become available to use. A '35x bonus' requirement on a £10 bonus means £350 of wagering.
Lower is better. A 20x requirement is far easier to clear than a 45x one, even if the headline bonus amount looks smaller. Always compare wagering, not just the percentage match.
Check what counts towards wagering. Slots usually contribute 100%, but table games and live casino often contribute far less — sometimes as little as 10% or nothing at all.
Watch for maximum bet limits while a bonus is active, and note the expiry period. A short window with high wagering can be unrealistic to clear.
Our golden rule: only claim a bonus you'd be comfortable playing through at your normal stakes. A bonus should add value, never pressure you to bet more than you intended.
